Mariah Carey, like so many of us went through a range of emotions at Michael Jackson’s memorial, but she had it tougher than you or I, as she had to perform as well. After the memorial service, Carey went on to her Twitter so that she could Apologizes for her performance.
Mariah Apologizes After Memorial – Mariah Carey has apologized for her less than perfect performance of ‘I’ll Be There’ at Michael Jackson Tuesday’s public memorial service. She said on her Twitter page:
“Sorry that I wasn’t able to pull it together and really do it right.” “But I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me.” “Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me. I could barely keep myself from crying.”
The singer added:
“One thing I know is, we will never really have to say goodbye to MJ. His legacy lives on through his music and the millions of people he inspired with his timeless music. He will be forever in our hearts.”
